Textured Shabby Chic Dining Room Table

When the piece of furniture you're working on is completely flat as its covered in a super smooth quality veneer that had absolutely no texture to it whatsoever, nothing your tried created any, your client asks for an unspecified Shabby Chic look with silver detailing, mentions how she loves depth in painted furniture many a time and specifically requests to see no wood exposed, lets just say fun and games were had!

After trying not 1 not even 2 but 3 previous attempted techniques on this table and having to restart each and every time because they just didn't work or look right, the baseball bat was honestly getting seriously eyed up!

So we chucked out the go to style rule book and brought a little of all the tools and tones together to create something full of depth and visual texture, yet to the touch was still completely butter smooth

Finished with some silver detailing and 2 types of wax for extra durability.
